The design and construction of Winona Shores presented unique challenges due to its sloping waterfront lot. Temporary regrading around the house allowed better access during siding and trim installation, enabling the team to deliver the client’s vision without compromise.

The home’s expansive eight-foot overhangs and Viking triple-pane windows create an unparalleled experience of being surrounded by nature, while also ensuring optimal energy efficiency and comfort year-round. The structure was constructed using passive house panels produced offsite by Ecocor in Searsmont, Maine—an approach that underscores its cutting-edge, sustainable design.
