Carpenter
Candidates for the role must have thorough knowledge of rough, finish carpentry, and tools and trades associated with residential construction. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

As a carpenter, your primary responsibility is to fabricate, assemble, and install wooden structures and fixtures, which include framing, rough and finish work, and specialized carpentry tasks. This role involves accurately measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting wood and other materials according to blueprints or plans. You also ensure the structural integrity and quality of your work, often collaborating with other tradespeople.

Perform carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship in the time allotted.
Responsible for job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from the elements.
Check the job site daily and communicate any discrepancies to the Foreman.
Inform the Foreman of specialty items needed.
Hold themselves and all carpenters under their direction accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance.
Responsible for producing projects per the plans and specifications.
Participate and prepare for weekly on-site meetings with the entire team.
Perform work under safety best practices.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed.
Measure and mark materials for alterations.
Measures, marks, and arranges materials to establish layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
Erects and dismantles scaffolding.
Install windows and doors.
Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
Install windows and doors, along with the appropriate door hardware.
Install batt insulation in wall, ceiling, and floor cavities.
Install interior and exterior trim boards of multiple materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Install siding and roofing.
Minor drywall work and paint.
Demolition work will be required at some jobs.

Foreman
The Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes. The foreman will be onsite daily, monitoring safety, compliance, and quality control. They will work closely with the Project Manager to review the schedule and communicate any conflicts or revisions to the approved plan.

As a foreman, your primary responsibility is to provide on-site coordination for all construction project phases. This includes coordinating with subcontractors, managing materials and equipment, and ensuring that plans and specifications are strictly followed. Your role also includes scheduling, coordinating inspections, maintaining quality control, and ensuring job site safety on a daily basis.

The Project Foreman is responsible for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes.
Scheduling all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as ensuring their work completion within the time allowed.
Coordination of work directed in the field, provided work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.
Conflicts or revisions to the plan shall be communicated with the project manager, prior to execution of work that deviates from the approved plans.
Establish and enforce job site quality control programs to ensure quality completion of
construction.
The foreman shall supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis.
The foreman is to be on-site, daily, during all activities unless approved in advance by the project manager.
Know safety rules and work practices that apply to the work you supervise. Take action to confirm that all employees in your charge understand the safety rules that apply to them. Always take immediate action to correct safety rule violations. Unsafe acts or procedures cannot be tolerated.
Prevent bad work habits from developing. You are responsible for making daily observations of employees to ensure that they perform their work safely and continue this observation regularly, once safe working habits are established.
Take action to correct or control hazardous conditions within your work areas. If it is beyond your control, remove the employee until the condition is safe. Eliminate unsafe conditions and prevent accidents.
Set a good example. Demonstrate safety in your own work habits and personal conduct. Always wear personal protective equipment in areas where personal protective equipment is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A FOREMAN
Maintain a Daily Log (written) of activities on the job site
Review the schedule with the Project manager and schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors based on the critical path discussed.
Perform quality control reviews of all work being performed.
Ensure that the subcontractor is fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
Ensure the subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
Walk the project site daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
Presiding over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
Verify and maintain records on all Time and Material work.
Identify areas of work that are outside of the subcontracted scope.
Opening the job site at the beginning of the day and securing the job site at the end of the day.
Assist the project manager with schedule updates.
Schedule all testing and inspections required by the specifications and/or authorities having jurisdiction.

Project Manager
The Project Manager will be responsible for collaborating with engineers and architects to determine project specs, negotiating contracts with external vendors, and hiring subcontractors and other staff to fulfill the scope of the project. They will determine the needed resources with attention to budget, and work with the foreman to ensure deadlines are met.
